What is in the template
The day as a hopscotch
Every room's daily schedule is laid out as a hopscotch, with a stone on what is happening right now in the center's own time zone.
Tuition estimator
Families pick a room, days a week, full or short days and a sibling discount, and see a monthly price with every line item. The estimate can be attached to a tour request.
Weekly menu and calendar
This week's breakfasts, lunches and snacks, opened on today, plus upcoming closures and events. Past dates hide themselves.
Tour booking and waitlist
Visitors pick a tour day and time, or join the waitlist, then get a confirmation with an add-to-calendar file. Closed days are skipped automatically.
Easy to change
Hours, rooms, schedules, prices, menu, calendar, staff, reviews and FAQ are plain data at the top of app.js. Open-now status and opening hours update on their own.
How to use it
Start from the template
Press Use this template and sign in with Puter. A new project with every file of the Daycare Center template opens in the builder.
Describe what to change
Tell the builder what you want in plain language: your content, your colors, a new feature. It edits the code and shows the result in a live preview.
Publish when it is ready
Put it on a public address with one click, or download the files and host them anywhere.
Questions
Where do tour requests go?
By default they open the visitor's email app with everything filled in, addressed to your center. Set a form endpoint in app.js, or ask the builder to add a small backend, and they are sent straight to you instead.
Can I change the rooms and age ranges?
Yes. Each room is one entry in a list with its name, ages, ratio, group size, shape, color, photo and price. The room finder and tuition estimator use the same list, so they stay in step.
Are the photos free to use?
Yes. They are CC0 photos from the WordPress Photo Directory, so you can keep them or swap in photos of your own center.
Is the template free?
Copying a template is free with a Puter account, and the copy is yours to keep. Changing it with AI uses your account's free allowance, and when that runs out you can upgrade.
Will changes to the template affect my copy?
No. Your copy is independent from the moment it is made. Updates to the template never touch it, and nothing you change reaches anyone else.
